This role is to be responsible for managing facilities responsibilities in our Headquarters Office in New York
Responsibilities
- Communication with office users, keeping them informed about any maintenance or facilities’ work which can impact their working environment,
- Keep constant contact with the BCP-Business Continuity Plan and Security team to be updated about important facts that need to be informed to office users and demand their response.
- Support for managing vendors and facilities team in events preparation and execution, such as client visits, senior leadership meetings, last minute requests such as catering services, air conditioning temperature change, and orders for transportation.
- Administers and supervises the predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
- Ensure employee work is compliant with all safety codes and follows the objectives, physical requirements, parameters and constraints of the project, including not only the user’s
- Functional needs but also health and safety, operation, maintenance, energy efficiency, quality standards, contextual issues, and aesthetics.
- Assist in the development of policies, guidelines, and standards.
- Works closely with other departments and administration, negotiates priorities, makes job assignments, and places orders for material, furnishings, supplies, and equipment.
- Works with the site FM and sourcing on the selection process and contract negotiations for consultants, contractors, and vendors.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
- BS/BA degree in related discipline (Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration)
- CHIMM, FMP, CFM, or PMP certification is a plus.
- Relevant years of experience in managing a facility.
- Experience managing visitors management systems, BMS, and security systems.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
- Good Communication, Quick thinker, Hands-on
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, work with minimum oversight, and meet deadlines.
- Solutions focused critical thinking with a succeed together attitude.
"The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity."
